SWING CONTROL by Tiger Claw

BENEFITS

As most beginners and even experienced golfers will tell you, controlling the ball is their biggest issue. Well there’s hope. Just 10 min with the Swing Control and you will understand why we hook or slice the ball.

As we all know or don’t, the club face at impact controls the spin of the golf ball. Left to right spin (open club face at impact) will cause you to slice and right to left spin (closed club face at impact) with cause the ball to draw or hook.

Correct way to use the Swing Control:

So how does it help us?

1)      Teaches you how to address the club face square at address

2)      Teaches you how to keep the club face square on the back swing

3)      Help you to maintain a square club face while working on your swing plane or swing path

4)      Teaches you consistency on the back swing

5)      Teaches you to learn how to rotate the club face correctly through the swing

6)      Help stop chicken wing

7)      Overall consistency.

ASSEMBLY

Assembly (Swing Control)

1)      Firstly take the 2 black wings and place them into the base of the Swing Control.

2)      Make sure the wings are placed at the correct angle and tighten with first wing nut.

3)      Insert forearm connection into the base of the Swing Control

Assembly (golf club)

1)      Slip the Swing Control onto the shaft from the bottom up. Once near the grip slip it over the grip approximately ½ inch from the bottom.

2)       Place your left hand on the club in your normal position. Cock your wrist to 90 degrees. If the Swing Control is in the correct position on the grip then the wings will fit onto your left forearm when your wrist cock is at 90 degrees.

3)      If your wrist needs to bend more than 90degrees then the Swing Control needs to move higher up on the grip

4)      If you are unable to reach a wrist break of 90 degrees then you need to move the Swing Control down lower on the grip until you are able to achieve 90 degrees.

5)      Once the Swing Control is in the right position on the grip you need to make sure that it’s on straight. Make sure the left edge of the bottom curve matches the leading edge of the club face.

USING THE SWING CONTROL

Using the Swing Control (Address position)

1)      All you need to do is take your normal address position and your normal grip.

2)      The Swing Control can make sure you set up your club face square at address. When you club is square the Swing Control should be positioned in the centre of your arms

3)      When your club face is too closed the Swing Control will be positioned too much over you’re left arm.

4)      When your club is too open the Swing Control will be positioned too much over your right arm.

Using the Swing Control (the back swing)

1)      Once you take your back swing you want to make sure you make the Swing Control connect with your left forearm anywhere between the 9 o’clock to 10 o’clock positions.

2)      If the Swing Control wings miss your left arm on the out side (or left edge) your club face is to closed

3)      If your Swing Control misses your left forearm on the inside (or right edge) your club face is too open on your backswing.

Using Swing control ( Swing plane)

Getting the club face square in one thing but you also want to make sure your club is also on plane.

1)      When the Swing Control touches you left forearm at the 9 o’clock position on the back swing, make sure you have the butt of the club pointing to the ball to target line.

2)      If the butt of the club is pointing inside the ball to target line then the club is going back to up-right.

3)      If the butt of the club is pointing outside the ball to target line then the club is going back to flat.

Using the Swing Control (impact position)

From the top of the backswing make a slow motion downswing.

If done correctly the Swing Control will be:

1)      In the same position as address even though the body has cleared.

2)      If the Swing Control is too much over the right arm it means the club face is open.

3)      If the Swing Control is too much over the left arm this means your club face is to closed

Using the Swing Control (finish position)

If the clubs face stays square the Swing Control

1)      will hook back up with the left forearm.

2)      If you have over rotated the club the Swing Control will miss the outside of the left forearm.

3)      If the Swing Control finishes between the arms this means the swing you have not rotated the club enough.
